The schemes of the enemy are not new. He’s been attacking our identities and relationships with God (literally) since the beginning of time. Unfortunately, we grow so accustomed to our flaws, failures, and misfortunes of life, that we come to believe Satan’s lies way too easily… and that’s where true pain and bondage seemingly take over our lives.
We do NOT have to continue living this way! Philippians 3: 13 - 14 - “...Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me
heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
The Encounter, at Liberty Church,
is the best kept secret in North Alabama. It’s a weekend dedicated to expose the lies of the enemy and show you the truth about God and yourself, so that you can live the abundant life Jesus died to give to you, be who God called you to be, and find your place in His Kingdom.
- Freedom - Break the chains of bondage that’s pulled you down for so long and learn (specifically) how to overcome all of your hurts, habits, and hangups. Spoiler alert: The best is yet to come!
- Acceptance - Come to be loved, as you are, and find your place in God’s Kingdom. There’s room for all of us.
- Truth - John 8: 32 - “...The truth will set you free.” God reveals the truth in us to change us - not to shame us.
- Love - Your group leaders fast and pray for you (specifically YOU, by name!) the entire week leading up to the Encounter.
- Inner Healing - Learn how all the times you’ve been hurt have shaped your belief system in how you view the world, today. More importantly, learn how to change your mindset and truly be healed. You don’t have to hurt anymore!
